Vintage Notes
Alluvial soil and drip irrigation with an altitude of 870 m.a.s.l. and a dry and continental climate with great sun exposure allowing perfect ripening. Vine cultivated by vertical shoot position trellising.
Harvested the first week of April by machine harvest.

Vinification

  • Grapes were destemmed and crushed.
  • Maceration before fermentation.
  • Alcoholic Fermentation: 18 days of fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 25-28ºC.
  • Natural malolactic fermentation.
  • Aging process: in French oak barrels for 6 months. Bottling aging for 6 months.

Tasting Notes
A dark garnet red whose cherry jam and red bell pepper aromas combine with chocolate and coffee notes from the six months aged in French oak. A wine with a strong presence, offers sweet yet robust tannins.
